Harmonise your mind and body with yoga.

⁠⁠I remember when I first started my yoga practice around 8 or so years ago now, which was a combination of tai chi, pilates and yoga. The soulful Liana from Akari Yoga & Fitness ran classes near me at the time (I highly recommend you look her up both online and if you’re near Kyneton). ⁠

It was a time I had a racing mind pretty much constantly and needed to find a way to calm it the F down, whilst preparing and strengthening my body, as I was starting to think about having a baby.

⁠⁠For me I found yoga to have amazing health benefits like improving my flexibility and strength, helping with my posture and muscle aches and importantly I found it to be an incredible tool to help calm my mind. ⁠⁠

While doing yoga I strengthened my focus and through the final 10 minute meditation of each class, I learnt how to block out background noise, which helped me use the time to go deep and within. It took some practice, but I persevered. I loved it and I still do.
